POST #4 – 11.10.21: A very important–and mind-numbingly tedious–part of making great #vinyl #lps is evaluating test pressings. We look for and carefully document any anomaly that may lead to excessive surface noise, pops, ticks…those sounds that pull you away from the music. Fearless Leader @abeyfonn digs in here, but @bobdonnelly6555 has been our tortured hero (especially with 1STEPS, which require multiples of evaluations), doing an amazing job of finding even the tiniest imperfection, requesting fixes, and starting all over again. It’s worth it to bring you the highest possible quality pressings available.
